Research Field:
The laboratory is dedicated to the application of synthetic biotechnology in the research and development of advanced biopharmaceuticals, including nucleic acids, proteins, and viral-based therapeutics. By integrating state-of-the-art technologies such as synthetic biology and artificial intelligence, the laboratory aims to achieve significant breakthroughs in areas such as the identification of novel disease targets, the design and optimization of synthetic biological components, and their functional validation. These efforts are intended to provide essential support for the advancement of innovative biopharmaceuticals.
The laboratory's focus extends to the development of critical, foundational synthetic biological technologies, such as nucleic acid elements and circuits, biological computation, and directed evolution. It further seeks to apply artificially synthesized gene circuits to pivotal areas in life sciences and healthcare, including cancer therapy, tissue regeneration, and the modulation of aging processes. Additionally, the laboratory leverages its proprietary RNA-based intelligent cell programming tools to drive the development of adaptive CAR-T cell therapies and pioneering vaccine research.
