This laboratory is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of drug discovery by developing cutting-edge methods and proprietary computational tools to uncover novel drug candidates to address unmet clinical needs.

Its Intelligent bioMolecular Design and Development (IMDD) platform provides highly efficient and practical solutions for drug discovery that integrates AI-based and physics-based bioactive molecule design with experimental validation. IMDD incorporates advanced computational methods developed by the laboratory, including structural and AI-based de novo drug design, ultra-large library virtual screening, allosteric drug design and strategies targeting intrinsically disordered proteins. It provides streamlined workflows for hit generation and optimization across various target types. Currently, the laboratory is applying IMDD to discover and develop novel drug candidates for several challenging targets related to cancer and metabolic diseases.
